Project employee for the aerospace strategy of the state of Baden-Württemberg (m/f/d)

The aerospace industry is an important economic factor in Baden-Württemberg. Leading global companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises operate from various locations.

Forum Luft- und Raumfahrt Baden-Württemberg e.V. (LR BW) represents the aerospace industry in the southwest and acts as the office for the state’s aerospace strategy “THE aerospace LÄND”. With its members, it is the link between industry, science and political decision-makers as well as other socially relevant groups.

The LR BW is looking for a project assistant (m/f/d) to join the office as soon as possible to work on the aerospace strategy of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The position is initially limited until December 31, 2026.

Your area of responsibility:

• Communication interface to all important internal and external contacts of the strategy,
• Preparing and compiling relevant information about the aerospace industry in Baden-Württemberg,
• Research and preparation of background materials such as market studies and information on funding programs as well as preparation of a press review,
• Taking minutes as well as organizational and content-related preparation and follow-up of internal and external meetings,
• Technical and content-related preparation of documents and presentations,
• Technical, content-related and organizational preparation of events and appointments as well as independent conception, coordination and implementation of national and international trade fair and event projects,
• Creation and maintenance of an event calendar for the aerospace sector,
• Organization of business trips,
• Coordination of the strategy work plan.

Our requirements for you:

• In-depth interest in aerospace topics,
• willingness to travel,
• Flexibility in terms of working hours and reliability,
• Strong analytical, communicative and conceptual skills,
• good knowledge of English, (good) knowledge of German would be desirable,
• above-average commitment and sense of responsibility,
• You have a university degree or have completed a dual study program,
• You have great organizational skills and can structure yourself and your tasks independently,
• You are polite and have a confident manner and enjoy dealing with your fellow human beings,
• Experience with political processes and representation of interests is desirable,
• You are experienced in using MS Office programs, creating presentation materials and maintaining websites,
• You have an interest in public relations.

3rd Summit of the FUTURE AVIATION innovation network
