The von Hoerner & Sulger GmbH (vH&S), founded 1971, belongs to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Germany. vH&S develops, manufactures, and qualifies custom instrumentation and space electronics systems for scientific and commercial space missions. Several systems by vH&S have been or are currently operational on satellites and in the ISS. The space product portfolio encompasses mass spectrometers (Dust-TOF on Rosetta, alpha particles, Mößbauer, LIBS), precision mixed-signal readout electronics for high-resolution VIS/SWIR earth observation imagers, plasma control electronics und RF-receivers onboard ISS, specialized laser driver and control electronics, as well as robotic miniature vehicles “rovers” for planetary exploration. A further very successful product group with many launches are rocket-borne instruments for the middle and upper atmosphere research.

Among the customers are german and international space agencies and institutes as well as prime companies.
