Makino Milling Machine Co., Ltd. is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and employs more than 4,600 people throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. Makino’s wide range of premium products includes machining centres for a wide array of applications in the areas of aerospace, automotive, off-highway vehicles, industrial components, and micro-technology. MAKINO Europe employs 300 people at technology centres and branch offices in Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Slova- kia, Poland and Russia.

The European aerospace business unit has its headquarters in Kirchheim unter Teck and employs more than 20 application engineers. It operates an aerospace technology centre there with an emphasis on process development for structural parts made of aluminium or titanium and for engine parts. Each January, the International Aerospace Forum takes place there as well.
