SME Workshop on the EU Internal Market for Defence and EU defence

Dear ENDR Members,

The European Commission’s DG DEFIS is pleased to invite you to an online SME Workshop on the EU Internal Market for Defence and EU defence programmes – EUDIS and AGILE, on Monday, 22 June 2026 at 13:00. The event will bring together SMEs and  emerging players from across the EU defence industry, alongside relevant representative organisations, and the Commission services responsible for these topics. The targeted discussion will provide an opportunity for SMEs and emerging players to exchange on their experiences in accessing defence procurement contracts, as well as in barriers faced when operating across the EU internal market for defence. It will act as a reality check of the current rules, helping the Commission to identify avenues for improvement. In addition, participants will receive information on EUDIS and the forthcoming AGILE instrument, both of which are aimed at supporting SME engagement in the European defence industrial ecosystem.
